Let it Snow!!

I'm not a huge fan of cold weather, but I couldn't help but get a little giddy this year when it snowed. With how warm it was in November, I was beginning to think winter wouldn't come at all! It snowed a ton this weekend and I couldn't wait to take Avery outside to introduce her to it. Thanks to Avery's older cousins who passed down a snowsuit just her size. (There's got to be some benefit in having 25 older cousins!) We bundled her up in a nice "Randy-from-A-Christmas-Story-way" and threw her out in the snow. Well, my dreams of her and I prancing around in the snow while making cute little snowmen didn't turn out how I imagined. She hated it! Maybe it was the cold, or maybe it was the fact that she was wearing one mitten and one sock mitten, but whatever it was she was NOT having it. I tried rolling the snow for my imagined snowman, but it was too dry and would not stick. I would just have to settle for snow angels, which in Avery's case turned out to be a crying fest angel. I still had fun and will just have to wait for her to appreciate the snow someday.
