Last Wednesday we celebrated Avery's first birthday!  It's been hard for me to believe that's it's already been a year since she was born.  The morning of her birthday, I watched the video of her birth and couldn't help but miss holding that tiny baby (but also very thankful that I'm not pregnant right now).  We have enjoyed Avery so much this year.  She has truly changed our lives, in a good way.  She is in such a fun stage.  Here's a list of her favorite things and tricks.

Favorite words - Dada, BB (for cousin Brittany), moo, yeah, bye bye, hi, and mostly baby jibberish
Favorite foods - Bananas, Cheerios, and pretty much anything I stick in her mouth
Favorite things- Giving hugs and kisses, playing with dolls and stuffed animals, chasing mom and dad around, getting into things she's not supposed to, reading books, pulling out all her toys and putting them back
Tricks- Doing some baby sign, waving bye bye, blowing kisses, pointing at people, counting to three, dancing and singing to music, and walking everywhere

We love our little girl and cannot imagine our lives without her!

My friend Kelli invited us over on Avery's birthday to swim in the kiddie pool.  Kelli has adorable twin girls that are three months older.  She even made cupcakes for Aves.

It didn't take her long to figure out how good frosting and cupcakes taste!
