I'm happy to report that after suffering with an ear infection for 5 weeks, Avery is finally better!  Nate has also been battling a severe sinus infection for the past 2 weeks and is gradually getting back to normal.  At one point, his temperature was over 103 degrees. Luckily Nate was sick over Memorial weekend so he didn't have to miss too much work.  While Nate was sick, it made me really appreciate all he does for us.  I shouldn't admit this, but I can't remember the last time I mowed a lawn!  It's hard work when you don't have a self-propelled mower.  I also weeded our flower beds and planted some geraniums, painted the trim on the outside of the windows all while taking care of my two sickies.  Avery tried "helping" me with some of the tasks.  Here are some pics of her attempts.  I actually enjoyed getting outside and doing some yard work.  I don't think I'll wait until the next time Nate gets sick to mow the lawn.  It was kind of fun.  I'm glad that Nate and Aves are feeling well again.
