Birthday party fun

My niece Suzy invited Avery to her 3 year old birthday party this week. It was Avery's first party invite so she was excited! Lisa had the party at Sky High, which has a bunch of big blow up bouncy things for kids and adults. We had a lot of fun, minus the battle wound I received from the obstacle course.

After the party, I got to watch my brother Aaron's little girl Maddie. She is the cutest! It took her a while to warm up to me since she doesn't know me very well, but once she did she was so fun to listen to. She sang me songs and told me stories. Nate and I read a bunch of stories to her and she would get so excited for the next one and say "Read me to it!" She also told us that her baby sister Kennedy tries to bite her, that "she tries to eat me." We enjoyed watching her.
